    This book, as a volume of the Shock Wave Science and Technology Reference Library, is primarily concerned with detonation waves or compression shock waves in reactive heterogeneous media, including mixtures of solid, liquid and gas : F. Zhang. Two things, first - Goodreads doesn't have enough stars, because five just doesn't cut it for this book. Second - it's dangerous to say "best" or "favorite" about any John Sandford book, but I'll take the risk on Shock Wave. This is my favorite John Sandford - Virgil Flowers book. (and I have read all of them.) Sanford's style is creamy/5(K).
